Feasibility study

Selecting the right test system is highly dependent on your actual testing requirements.
Most of our tailor-made test systems are adjusted through a feasibility study where R&D Test Systems helps develop the best solution based on the customer’s testing requirements and business case.
The size and scope of each feasibility study vary depending on the complexity of the test and the degree of detail.
A feasibility study facilitates the combination of a test specification, a test system concept, a budget and a timeline. By covering these areas before initiating the development process, you ensure an ideal business case.

    Feasibility
    Feasibility study
    The specification, test system concept, timeline and budget are all ptimised to suit the customer's requirements and business case.
    Engineering
    Design and engineering of the test system
    A project team from R&D Test Systems executes the engineering. The output is approved by one or several scheduled Design Reviews in collaboration with the customer to ensure full compliance before initiating the manufacturing of the test system.
    Manufacturing
    Manufacturing and Factory Acceptance Test
    All components and subsystems are manufactured - either internally or sourced through qualified suppliers - and supervised by our project team. Thereafter, a Factory Acceptance Test is carried out by our project team.
    Installation
    Installation on site
    The system is installed on site by our installation team under the supervision of the Project Manager, Site Manager and relevant Project Lead Engineers.
    Commissioning
    Running-in, system testing and handover
    Following the installation, a running-in and system testing is carried out. Once completed, the system is handed over to the customer via a Site Acceptance Test.
    Service
    Maintenance, calibration and service of the test system
    After the commissioning and handover, our Service & Installation team continues to support the customer. Spare parts and service agreements must be made with our Service & Installation team.
