R&D Test Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager

Do you want to take part in further development of our business within the aerospace industry? Are you experienced within the implementation of business strategies and able to create and secure a close relationship with customers and stakeholders? R&D’s department of Test Systems is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our global sales strategy for the aerospace industry.

R&D is experiencing a growing demand for our turnkey solutions within the aerospace industry. For this reason, we are looking for a Business Development Manager who will play an important role in expanding our market share.

You will be part of the R&D’s department of Test Systems, which develops and delivers technically complicated heavy-duty test rigs within the industries of aerospace, wind, oil and gas. Over the years, we have accumulated knowledge and experience within the development and delivery of complete turnkey test rigs for a broad palette of large and internationally acclaimed companies.

Responsible for our global sales strategy
We are looking for a committed and strategic-minded person, who will take part in further development of our business mainly within the aerospace industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing our global sales strategy as well as securing a close relationship with the customers and stakeholders. You must expect approx. 90 travel days per year.

  • Business development plans for your area
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing customers
  • Increasing customer base
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Target and segment customers
  • Prioritise own accounts, define business opportunities and customer needs

Experience with sales of technical solutions for the aerospace industry
You have experience with sales of technical and complex solutions for the aerospace industry. Personally, you are ambitious and committed to your assignments.

We expect that you:
  • Have 10 years of experience with sales of technical solutions
  • Have experience with preparing and implementing business development
  • Are fully proficient in English
  • Have sales experience from the aerospace industry
  • Have an engineering degree, or other technical background
  • Are independent and have excellent planning skills
  • Can present a proven track record of sales results
